How to personalize your SMS Campaigns.

This article will show you how to personalize your campaigns so you can automatically include the name, last name or any other personal information.


Let's say you have 400 contact on your list and you want to make sure each SMS you send has their name, last name or any other personal information about that contact.

Well, with Octopush, it is possible to easily add that personal touch to your campaigns. 

First, we need to make sure your list has been imported from an Excel file to your account - If you need help with this, please check this article.


Old platform (V0) :

If your account was created before October 1st, 2020, you are using our V0.


Once your contact list has been created and uploaded, it should look like this.

Now, when you are writing your text, you can use {prenom} where you wish the name to display {nom} where you want the last name to display and {ch1}, {ch2}, {ch3} for any other personal information you wish to add to your text.

Your text box should look something like this:


New platform (V2)

If you migrated or if your account was created after October 1st, 2020, then you are using our V2.


Once your contact list has been created and uploaded, it should look like this.Now, when you are writing your text, you can use {param1} where you wish the name to display {param2} where you want the last name to display and {param3}, {param4}, {param5} for any other personal information you wish to add to your text.

Your text box should look something like this:


Note: To be able to test a personalized campaign, you must create a test list with 1 or 2 contacts inside and send a campaign using that list.
