Contacts
Contact list vs Global List, how to create a list, import a file, using tags and sending to multiple lists/tags.
You avail of different list categories :
Global List
Is where all your contacts are, those in lists, those that don't belong to any lists (added manually) and you can filter by name, phone number, additional info, etc. Let's say it is all your contacts. You can directly import files to the global list, and remember that all doubled numbers will be deduplicated.
Contact Lists
Is where you can import specific files or list for all your contacts. You add contacts to a list by importing a file or doing it manually.
Tags
Tags are used to create segments and label your contacts. You can send campaigns to a specific tag. F.E. 'women', 'men', 'Paris', 'VIP', etc.
You can add them manually to many contacts or when importing a list.
Creating a List
There are several ways to create a list, for example:
- Going to your contacts, clicking on contact lists and then on
. - You can also create a list when importing a file.
Either way, you must choose if you want the file to be imported in a new list, existing list or on your global list.
Adding a Tag
Similar to lists, you can add tags and tag contacts in many ways. You can manually add a tag, or you can create a tag when importing a file. You can also add a tag by ticking the box on a contact and clicking on the tag button
